Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon peel
- Glaze frosting
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Oil and flour a 5 × 9 loaf pan

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt

In separate bowl, beat eggs

Add milk, oil and lemon peel.

Add moist mixture to dry and mix until blended

Bake for 40-45 minutes

Leave in pan

Leave oven on
-
Poke holes in top and drizzle glaze over bread.

Bake for an additional 15 minutes

Cool on a wire rack
