Ingredients
- 1 envelope yeast
- 1/1/2 cups warm water 110 degrees
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 cups flour
- coarse salt
- butter for topping
Directions

Preheat oven to 425.

In large bowl, soften yeast

Add salt, sugar and flour

Mix to form a ball

Place on a flowered board and knead for 5 to 10 minutes

Form 16 balls
-
Roll into an 18" rope

Twist into pretzel shape.

Lay on lightly greased cookie sheet

Brush with butter and sprinkle on salt

Bake 12 – 15 minutes

Cool on rack
