Ingredients

• 5 eggs, separated
• 1 cup butter
• 2 cups sugar
• lemon zest
• 2 2/3 cups flour
• 1 cup milk
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• cocoa

Directions

1. Separate the eggs

2. Add sugar and butter to the yolks.

3. Add milk, lemon zest, flour and the beaten egg whites

4. Take a small part of the batter and add cocoa to it.

5. Fold into the remaining batter

6. Place in greased and floured pan and bake in preheated 350 oven until done
