Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 - 1 teaspoon flavoring oil
- food coloring
- confectioner's sugar, for dusting
Directions

Lightly grease cookie sheet

Place on a wire cooling rack

Stir sugar, corn syrup and water in medium

saucepan over medium high heat until sugar dissolves

Without stirring, boil until candy thermometer registers 300-310

Immediately remove

Wait for 1-2 minutes for boiling to stop

With wooden spoon, stir in oil and color until blended

Pour immediately onto cookie sheet

Cool completely about 20 minutes

Dust lightly with confectioner’s sugar

Break into small pieces

Store in an airtight container
