Martha Stewart’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 packed cups light brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Cream together butter and sugars

  2. Beat well and scrape down bowl

  3. Add eggs, one at a time, but don’t over beat

  4. Add vanilla.

  5. Sift together flour, soda and salt and gradually add to the sugar mixture

  6. Stir in chocolate chips

  7. Wrap in plastic and chill

  8. Scoop out with ice cream scoop

  9. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven until lightly brown
