Ingredients
- Green beans (fresh or frozen)
- 1 sliced onion
- Potatoes cut into pieces
- 16 oz. whole or diced tomatoes
- bouillon cubes to taste
- salt and pepper
Directions

Remove strings from fresh beans and wash

Cut onions into slices and brown slightly in oil in a heavy pot

Add potatoes and brown slightly

Add beans
-
Fill up pot 1/2 way with water (bouillon added)

Simmer for about 1/2 hour to an hour.

Add canned tomatoes

When almost done, add salt and pepper
-
Continue to cook an additional hour or until tender.

Can also be made in a pressure cooker for about 20 minutes
