Ingredients
- 1 sleeve whole wheat (opt.) crackers
- 1 sm. bag semi sweet choc. chips
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter (2 sticks)
- Boil together for 1 minute, stirring, add
- 1 c. pecans or almonds (or nut of your choice)
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Now boil that about 30 seconds, pour over saltines

Line a 9×13 pan with foil (Reynolds Release works awesome). Line foil with saltine crackers. I use the whole wheat kind. The crackers fit perfectly.

350˚ for 10-12 min. Take out of oven and add 1 bag of semi-sweet chips. Let sit for 5 to 10 min. while the chips melt. Then smooth over top.

*It is good to make the night before an event so the chips aren’t so gooey. But if making it right before, I will put in the fridge for about 30-60 min. to help the chips set.
