Ingredients

• 2 lbs. powdered sugar
• 1 1/4 cup solid vegetable shortening
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 1/2 teaspoons clear vanilla
• 1 1/2 teaspoons butter flavoring
• 2 Tablespoon Meringue powder

Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine water, shortening and flavoring with 1 cup of powdered sugar.

2. Beat on medium speed until creamy.

3. Scrape sides often and gradually add the remaining sugar, one cup at a time.

4. Add meringue powder last.

5. Continue beating on medium speed until light and fluffy.
