Slow Cooker Steak and Black Bean Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs top round steak or stew meat
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix (1 oz)
  • 2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz)
  • 1 can Old El Paso chopped green chilies, undrained
  • 3 t chili powder
  • 1 t ground cumin

Directions

  1. Trim fat from beef. Cut beef into 3/4 inch cubes. In 3-4 qt. slow cooker, mix beef and soup mix (dry). Stir in remaining ingredients.

  2. Cover and cook n Low 8 to 10 hours
