Applescotch Crisp

Ingredients

  • 4 c sliced, peeled apples
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 2/3 c plus 1 T flour, divided
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1/4 c milk
  • 1/2 c quick-cooking oats
  • 1 pkg cook & serve butterscotch pudding
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/2 c butter, cubed

Directions

  1. Place apples in ungreased 11×7 baking dish. In a large bowl, whisk the brown sugar, 1 T flour, water and milk. Pour over apples.

  2. In another bowl, combine oats, pudding mix, sugar, cinnamon, salt and remaining flour. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over apples.

  3. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until topping is golden brown and fruit is tender.
