Strawberry Lemon Pudding Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Crisco
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 1/2 cups oats, quick cooking
  • 2 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • one small lemon instant pudding
  • 32 strawberries, cut lengthwise into halves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Grease 9 × 13 pan

  3. Mix sugar, Crisco, 3 oz cream cheese until well blended.

  4. Stir in Bisquick and oats until crumbly.

  5. Press evenly into pan

  6. Bake 14-18 minutes.

  7. Cool for 15 minutes

  8. Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and reserve.

  9. Beat pudding into cold milk until smooth.

  10. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Beat on medium until smooth.

  11. Spread over crust.

  12. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and cut into 32 bars.

  13. Top each with 2 strawberries, placed face down
