Ingredients
- First Layer:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 - 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 1 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- Second Layer:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons dry vanilla pudding mix "(not instant)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- Third Layer:
- 1 (9 3/4 ounce) chocolate bar
Directions

First Layer:

Melt over hot water the butter and cocoa. Add powdered sugar, egg and vanilla; set aside.

Mix together nuts, crumbs, and coconut.

Add to first mixture.

Mix well.

Press into bottom of 9 by 13 inch pan.

Chill.

Second Layer:

Melt butter, cream, and vanilla.

Add pudding mix and cook one minute, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat.

Add powdered sugar; blend well.

Spread over the first layer.

Third Layer:

Melt bar and spread over top.

Chill; very important.

Bring mixture to room temperature before cutting bars, they will crumble otherwise.

Store bars in refrigerator until ready to serve.
