Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup uncooked Carolina rice
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
Directions

at oven to 300.

Butter shallow baking dish.

In bowl, beat eggs and sugar

Beat in milk and cream, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Stir in the rice.

Pour into dish and dot with butter

Bake stirring every 30 minutes until pudding is set and top is lightly browned, about 2 hours.
