Eggnog Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. rum extract
  • 1/2 tsp. brandy extract

Directions

  1. Preheat ovent to 350 degrees.

  2. Cream butter, eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients. Chill for 1 hour. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp. nutmeg. Press down lightly with botttom of glass. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-9 minutes. Should be soft to the touch in the center.
