Cream Tart with Berries

Ingredients

  • Silky Tart Dough
  • 3/4 c creme fraiche
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 t vanilla extract
  • 3 T maple syrup or sugar
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 1-2 c berries

Directions

  1. eheat oven to 350.

  2. Make tart dough.

  3. Whisk creme fraiche, egg yolks, vanilla, sugar and salt.

  4. Pour mix into shell.

  5. Dot berries over the top and bake until puffy and pale gold, about 35 min.

  6. Remove even if it’s wobbly, as the custard will continue to bake.

  7. Serve while still a little warm.
