Ingredients
- 1/2 c butter (1 stick)
- 2 c (12 oz) white morsels, divided
- 2 lg eggs
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 c flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/2 c seedless raspberry jam
- 1/4 c sliced almonds, if desired

Preheat oven to 325. Grease & sugar 9" square baking pan. Melt butter in medium microwavable bowl for 1 minute; stir. Add 1 c morsels; let stand. Do not stir.

Beat eggs in lg bowl till foamy. Add sugar, beat till lite lemon-colored, abt 5 minutes. Stir in morsel-butter mixture. Add next 3 ing; mix at low speed till combined. Spread 2/3 batter into pan.

Bake 15-17 minutes or till litely golden around edges. Remove from oven to wire rack.

Heat jam in small microwave bowl for 30 seconds. Spread jam over warm crust. Stir remaining morsels into remaining batter. Drop by spoonsful of batter over jam. Sprinkle with almonds.

Bake 25-30 minutes or till edges are browned. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars
