Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 4 cps rose petals
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2 drops red food coloring
Directions

Snip off white base of rose petals and use only the top.

Put in bowl and cover with sugar.

Set aside for 4 hour, tossing to mix occasionally.

Bring water to a boil.

Add petals and other ingredients.

Stir gently until sugar melts.

Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.

Pour into small jam jars and seal tightly.

When cool, tighten lid
