Saturday Night Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 6 hard-cooked eggs, peeled, cut in half, and yolks mashed in a bowl
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Heinz 57 steak sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons creole mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped red onion, plus
  • 1 teaspoon chopped red onion
  • 2 teaspoons chopped pickled jalapeno peppers
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • salt
  • black pepper

Directions

  1. Combine the mashed yolk with the mayonnaise, steak sauce, mustard, onion, jalapeƱos peppers, and sugar.

  2. Taste, then season with salt and pepper.

  3. Fill the whites evenly with the mixture; may garnish with chopped red onion or chopped jalapeƱo peppers.
