Brainy Almond Blueberry Oatmeal

Ingredients
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 c. steel-cut oats
- 1/4 c. fat-free milk
- 1 tbsp slivered almonds
- 1/3 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed
Directions

Boil 1 cup of water over high heat.

Add steel-cut oats.

Cook, stirring, for 25 minutes, until the oatmeal is soft.

Reduce heat to low and cook for 3 more minutes, stirring constantly.

Add milk, almonds, blueberries, and flaxseed.

Mix and serve.
