Sweet & Sour Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

  • 12 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise, plus
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 5 teaspoons sugar
  • 5 teaspoons cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • paprika (to garnish)
  • parsley (to garnish)

Directions

  1. Slice eggs in half lengthwise.

  2. Scoop out yolks.

  3. In a small bowl, mash yolks with a fork.

  4. Add mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.

  5. Stuff or pipe mixture into egg whites.

  6. Garnish with paprika and parsley, if desired.
