Ingredients
- 5 cloves garlic
- 5 stalks celery
- 1 carrot
- 1 large onion
- 3/4 tablespoon oregano
- 3/4 tablespoon black pepper
- 1/4 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- One gallon tomato paste
Directions

Process the vegetables well

In a large pot, saute the vegetables and add the ground beef, brown thoroughly

Add the tomato paste and stir in 1/2 gallon water.

Add a small handful of salt.

Cook for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally

10 minutes before its done, add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and mix in thouroughly
