Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Potatoes, sliced thinly
  • butter
  • milk
  • Romano cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • Italian bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Prepare the sauce.

  2. Melt the butter and stir in the flour, stirring with a whisk.

  3. Add warm milk and stir until slightly thickened

  4. Place potatoes in a pan.

  5. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and cheese.

  6. Cover with sauce and spot with butter

  7. Top with bread crumbs

  8. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour

  9. Uncover and bake for about 1/2 hour more, ot until top is brown.
