Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 5 oz sweet chocolate, grated
- dash o' salt
- 1 cup Ritz crackers (crumbled)
- 1/2 cup pecans (chopped)
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
Directions

Mix sugar and baking powder. Beat egg whites. Add vanilla and salt while beating. Add sugar mixture gradually until it starts to form stiff peaks.

Grate chocolate and remove 2 tsp for later. Combine chocolate with cracker crumbs and pecans. Fold into meringue, mixing thoroughly

Place mix in 9 inch ungreased pie plate. Bake at 350F for 25 min then cool.

Whip cream, add sugar and vanilla to taste. Spread over cooked, cooled pie. Sprinkle with 2 tsp chocolate. Chill over night or freeze.
