Streusel muffin topping

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp cold butter

Directions

  1. Toss together the oats, flour, brown sugar and salt. Cut in the butter with a fork or pastry cutter until it’s in crumbly pieces about the size of peas. Scatter the struesel over the muffins, pressing down lightly to adhere
