Prosforon

Ingredients

  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • A Prosforon seal

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water

  2. Let stand for 5 minutes

  3. Make a hole in the flour and pour in yeast mixture and remaining water

  4. Mix and knead for 10 minutes

  5. Cover and let rise for 1 hour

  6. Knead for 20 minutes

  7. Put seal on the dough

  8. Let rise

  9. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes in floured pan
