Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 stalk celery chopped
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 15 oz can black beans drained and rinsed
- 1 large egg lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp. cumin
- 1/2 c. plain bread crumbs
- salt and pepper

Pre heat oven to 350 grease a large rimmed baking sheet

Warm oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add celery and onion. Stir 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and saute 1 minute longer. Pour beans into a bowl and mash into a thick paste. Add celery mixture egg cumin and bread crumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 patties and bake on baking sheet until firm and set. About 10 minutes.
