Jumers Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup warn water (not boiling)
  • 3 cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.

  2. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, mix Bisquick with 1/2 cup water.

  4. Add yest to it and mix together.

  5. Add extra Bisquick if dough is sticky (should be soft, but not sticky).

  6. Divide dough into 1/4ths.

  7. Roll out (using Bisquick on counter) into a rectangle shape about 12 × 6 inches.

  8. Brush with melted butter & sprinkle with cinnamon – sugar mixture.

  9. Roll up along long edge.

  10. Cut into 1 inch slices.

  11. Place on greased cookie sheet (one with a 1 inch lip).

  12. Brush tops with butter and sprinkle remaining sugar mixture on top.

  13. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

  14. Cool slightly and remove from pan.
