Bourekakia

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 egg
  • oil
  • cold water
  • butter

Directions

  1. Combine flour, egg, oil and cold water

  2. Roll out

  3. Cut pieces of the butter and place on 1/2 of the dough

  4. Smooth it out

  5. Cover and leave in refrigerator 20 minutes

  6. Roll out again

  7. Repeat 5 times then let it rest for at least 2 hours

  8. Section into 3 parts

  9. With the cut part facing you, roll thin

  10. Cut into pieces

  11. Fill with any topping and bake at 350 until brown

  12. Can also be made into pita
