Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 2 T. vegetable oil
  • 2 cups rice, cooked
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 cup water chestnuts, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup mushrooms, fresh sliced
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Directions

  1. SAUTE green pepper and green onion in oil in large skillet 2-3 minutes until tender crisp.

  2. STIR IN rice, wheat germ, water chestnuts, mushrooms, and soy sauce. Mix well.

  3. COOK over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. STIR IN beaten eggs. COOK for 2-3 minutes until eggs are set.
