Almond Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 c minute rice
  • 2 T butter or margarine
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1/4 c dry-roasted almonds (or 1/4 c raw almonds browned in butter)
  • 1/4 c dry currants or raisins

Directions

  1. Prepare rice according to directions adding butter and salt.

  2. Just before serving, stir in almonds and currants.
