Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon peel
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups shredded apples
- 1 cup chopped raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions

Cream together butter, sugar, lemon peel and cinnamon

Beat in eggs until light and fluffy

Beat in milk and lemon juice

Stir together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, stirring until moistened.

Fold in apples, raisins and nuts

Spoon into loaf pans

Bake at 350 for 40-4 minutes
