Grilled Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (coarsely ground)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper (or red pepper)
  • 32 large shrimp, about 1 1/2 pounds, peeled and deveined

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the marinade ingredients.

  2. Add the shrimp and toss to coat thoroughly.

  3. Cover & refrigerate for up to 1 hour.

  4. Remove shrimp and discard marinade.

  5. Grill or cook in a grill pan for 2 to 4 minutes a side, turning once, over high heat.
