Ingredients
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 T. butter or margarine
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 1/2 c. flour, unbleached
- 1 t. salt
- 1 T. sugar
Directions

Combine boiling water and butter. Stir until melted.

Cool to lukewarm (110 F). Add yeast and let stand 1 minute. Stir to dissolve. Let stand 4 minutes.

Combine remaining dry ingredients and add to liquid.

Stir briskly to mix until dough leaves bowl.

Place in oiled bowl and turn.

Let rise 45 minutes.

Punch down and knead one minute.

Add flour if dough gets sticky. Divide into two. Press to 12"

Pre-bake crust at 450F 10 minutes

Add toppings.

Bake on preheated pizza stone at 425 10-15 minutes (or on pan at 375) 15 to 20 minutes.
