Herb Garden Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (6 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 3/4 cup elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, cook beef, onion and garlic until meat is browned; drain.

  2. Add the next 12 ingredients.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Add macaroni; cover and simmer 10 minutes more.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve.
