Ingredients
- 3 3/4 c confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 c cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1/4 t salt
- 6 T boiling water
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 1/2 c butter, softened
Directions

In a large bowl, combine sugar, cocoa and salt. With an electric mixer, beat in boiling water, vanilla and butter until smooth and thick.

For a richer, darker frosting, use Dutch-processed cocoa powder.
