Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients
- 12 - 14 large fresh mushrooms
- 2 Tbsp. sliced green onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. fresh bread crumbs
- 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz. crabmeat, flaked
- salt and pepper, optional

Remove mushroom stems; chop enough stems to measure 1/3 c. Cook and stir chopped stems and onion in 1 Tbsp. butter until tender. Stir in bread crumbs.

In medium bown, add mushroom mixture to cream cheese; mix until well blended. Gently stir in crab; season to taste with salt and pepper.

Brush mushroom caps with remaining 2 Tbsp. butter, melted. Fill with cream cheese mixture; place in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 18 to 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
