Granola

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup honey, warmed
  • 3 teaspoons molasses
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 cup sesame seeds
  • flax seed
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 2-18 ounce containers of old fashion rolled oats
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • unsweetened coconut

Directions

  1. In a large pan toast nuts and seeds until golden.

  2. Mix vegetable oil, honey and molasses together.

  3. Pour liquid mixture onto roasted nuts.

  4. Add some cinnamon.

  5. Mix well.

  6. eheat oven to 325.

  7. Mix oats with nut mixture.

  8. Put 1/2 to 3/4 inch layer of mixture in baking pan.

  9. Cook for about 10 minutes.

  10. Stir and cook for 5 to 10 minutes more.

  11. Cool granola.

  12. Add cranberries, raisins, dates and coconut.
