Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh broccoli, trimmed and cut up
- 2 tbls butter, plus more for greasing casserole
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 8oz can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preheat over to 350˚

Butter a 9″ × 13″ casserole

Steam broccoli

Melt butter and saute celery, mushrooms, and onion

Combine broccoli, celery, mushrooms, onion, and water chestnuts in a bowl.

Heat soup and 2 cups cheese over low heat until melted together.

Pour over veggies.

Add salt and pepper.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, sprinkle top with 1 cup cheese last 5 minutes of baking.
