Gorgonzola Flatbread with prosciutto and dates

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1 lb pizza dough (thawed)
  • flour for work surface
  • 4 oz gorgonzola cheese (1 c. crumbled)
  • 2 oz fontina cheese (1/2 c. shredded)
  • 1/3 c pitted dates - coarsly chopped
  • pepper
  • 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto

Directions

  1. oven 450 deg.

  2. ved dough in 1/2. on floured surface, roll and stretch dough to 2 16X4 in. ovals

  3. transfer to baking sheet. brush top with 1 TBSP oil

  4. Sprinkle dough with gorgonzola, fontina and dates. Season with pepper

  5. Bake until crust is golden – 15-17 min.

  6. Transfer to board. Drape prosciutto on top and cut crosswise in triangles
