Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 packages dry active yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoons soda
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup water

Combine dry ingredients

Heat milk and water to 120-130

Add heated liquids to dry mixture and beat,stir in enough flour (2 1/2-3 cups) to make a stiff batter.

Spoon into 8 1/2 × 4 1/2 pans that have been greased and conrmealed.

Sprinkle tops with cornmeal, cover and let rise 45 minutes.

Bake at 400 for 25 minutes remove from pan immediately. Let cool.
