Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin, 1/2 inch thick
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Directions

Trim fat from meat

Brown in a large skillet, then turn and brown the other side, seasoning both sides with salt

Push meat aside and add onion

Cook and stir until tender

Stir in broth, soy sauce and garlic

Cover and simmer for 10 minutes

Add green peppers. Cover and simmer for 5 more minutes

Blend cornstarch in water and gradually add to meat mixture.

Cook stirring constantly until it thickens and boils

Boil and stir 1 minute

Serve over rice
