Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1 tespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon dried mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 lb sausage
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup white rice
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup frozen corn
Directions

Brown sausage in sauce pan with tight fitting lid.

Remove and drain sausage

add butter to pan, sautee onions and peppers

return sausage to pan and add all the spices

add broth and rice
-
bring to a boil, stir well, cover and cook 10 minutes

add peas and corn stir well
-
recover and let stand off heat for another 10 minutes
