Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped carrot
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup Guinness stout
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon dried dill
- 1 can beef broth
- pepper
- 2 whole cloves
- 3 lbs beef brisket (salt and pepper brisket)

Put all ingredients into crockpot.

Cook on high 8 hours.

Cut brisket across the grain, serve.
