Creamy Gritz

Cook time: 50 minutes
Serves 4 people
Ingredients
- 2 T. Butter
- 2 C. Chicken Broth
- 1/2 C. Non-Instant Gritz
- 2 C. Heavy Cream
Directions

Bring butter and broth to a boil.

Add gritz and stir.

Reduce heat to simmer.

Cook for 10 minutes or until most of broth is absorbed.

Add 1/4 C. of cream and cook for another 10 minutes or until cream absorbed.

Continue adding cream 1/4 C. at a time.

Cook until thickened.

Should be soupy but full bodied enough not to run on plate.

Serve Hot.
