Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups light cream
- 3 cups diced chicken
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Directions

cook onions in the butter

remove from heat and stir in the flour

add chicken and gradually add flour
-
add cream and cook until thick
-
add rice, chicken, salt and pepper

place in a greased casserole dish

sprinkle with almonds and cheese

cook at 350F for 30 minutes
