Ingredients
- for white sauce:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 box of pasta
- 2/3 cup parmesan
- 1/4 cup basil pesto
- 1lb shrimp cooked
- 20 asparagus spears
Directions

fill a large pot of water and let boil

heat butter and oil in a large frying pan at medium low; remove from heat and add flour, slowly add the milk; then return to medium low heat and season with pepper ; reduce heat and let simmer

cook pasta

whisk parmesan into white sauce then blend in pesto

add shrimp and let it heat through

steam or microwave asparagus
