Chicken Stroganoff

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb skinless boneless chicken cut into strips
  • 2 cups sliced mushroom (or one can)
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or yogurt
  • 2 tbsp butter

Directions

  1. Cook the chicken in the skillet in 1/2 the butter

  2. Separately cook the onions and then the mushrooms in the 2nd tsp of butter until tender and liquid is evaporated, stir often.

  3. Add soup and sour cream. Heat to boiling.

  4. Return chicken to skillet, heat through, stir often

  5. Serve over noodles.
