Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

Ingredients

  • For the Whipped Cream Topping:
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For The Milkshake:
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. To make the whipped cream topping:

  2. Pour heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract into a bowl and whisk continuously until soft peaks form, about 3 minutes. (You could also use an electric mixer.) Refrigerate while making the milkshake.
  3. To make the Pumpkin Pie Milkshake: Place canned pumpkin, ice cream, milk, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg in blender. Combine until smooth and frothy. Top with whipped cream and garnish with cinnamon stick if desired.
