Honey Glazed Carrots

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 pounds carrots, cut 1/2 inch thick
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch cayenne, if desired
- 1/4 cup water
Directions

Melt butter in large skillet over med-high heat

Add carrots and cook, stirring, until carrots begin to turn golden, about 3 minutes

Stir in honey, 1/4 cup water, salt and cayenne

Cover, reduce heat to medium and cook until carrots are tender, about 4-5 minutes

Uncover and cook on high heat until pan sauce turns syrupy and glazes carrots, about 2-3 minutes
