Cheddary Mashed Potato Bake

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 (7 1/4 ounce) box instant roasted garlic mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups French's cheddar french fried onions

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.

  2. Make potatoes as directed on the package for 2 pouches (8 servings).

  3. Stir in sour cream and 1 cup cheddar cheese.

  4. Heat through.

  5. Spoon mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.

  6. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese and the french fried onions.

  7. Bake 10 minutes until hot and golden.
